Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Gloss gives enhanced protection to exterior wood & metal surfaces whilst also achieving a professional gloss finish.
This exterior gloss paint provides all weather protection for 6 years and is developed containing a fungicide which inhibits mould growth on the paint film, helping it to stay cleaner for longer. Achieving a high quality gloss finish and suitable to be applied to exterior woodwork, metal & plastic surfaces, Dulux Weathershield Gloss provides excellent paint coverage, covering up to 16m² per litre and a quick drying paint time of 1-2 hours. This product should only be applied through a suitable paint brush and has a recoat time of up to 4 hours depending on application conditions.
Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Gloss also provides you with its ability to be colour matched. Mixed to a wide range of colours including most major brands, simply enter the name and brand of the colour you would like, or select from the colour palette above to find your perfect colour choice.

To achieve the best results, ensure that all surfaces to be painted are clean and dry prior to application.
If there are any loose surface coatings, it is advised that these are stripped back to the bare wood before painting and any mould or algae is treated with a suitable mould cleaner. Any surface defects should be filled with a suitable exterior wood filler. If treating bare wood, it is important to prime with 2 coats of Dulux Trade Weathershield Preservative Primer followed by 1 coat of Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat.
Allow 3 hours for your wooden surface to dry before applying an overcoat.
Before full application of Dulux Weathershield Exterior Gloss we always recommend testing out a small area on your chosen surface to ensure you are happy with the products overall adhesion and finish.
This product is for brush application only and should not be applied in temperatures below 10°C, or when there is likely to be rain or frost.
Before application, make sure to stir the product thoroughly, and once stirred apply 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior paint, if a strong colour change is required, additional coats will be needed. It is advised that 4 hours are left between each coat to achieve optimum results.
Dulux Weathershield Gloss has been designed to protect surfaces against all weather conditions for up to 6 years. If after that time, it is noticeable that the original coat is starting to fade or wear, then simply apply another coat following the steps given in the preparation and application sections above.
