Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain provides protection for your windows and doors for an entire decade. It's super easy to apply because it does not require a base coat or a primer which allows you to apply the woodstain straight away. Once the Ronseal woodstain has been applied, the finish will last for 10 years.
Ronseal's 10 Year Woodstain water based formula prevents your woodwork cracking pealing and blistering. This Woodstain dries in 1 hour and it will be ready for the second coat of woodstain in four hours. Ronseal's 10 Year Woodstain covers roughly 18m² per litre.
Suitable for use on exterior doors & windows and is available is a variety of colours.

Before you start
We would suggest using this product on a day when the temprature is above 10°c. When sanding, always wear a mask to prevent dust inhalation.
Ronseal's 10-year Woodstain is not suitable for decking.
- Sand down your woodwork with 120 grit sandpaper to remove any stain, old varnish or imperfections
- Use a damp cloth and some white spirit to clean down the surface and remove any dirt or dust.
- Stir your tin to ennsure the colour is thouroughly mixed throughout the woodstain
- Paint a small section of your woodwork with the woodstain to ensure you are happy with the colour
- Use a paint brush to apply the woodstain in the direction of the woodgrain
- Once you have applied the first coat, wait four hours before applying the second.
- To achieve the best results you will need thre coats of woodstain. Before you apply the final coat, sand down the woodwork to ensure a smoother finish.
- Once your third coat has been applied, you will need to wait 12 hours for it to dry but, it will be rainproof in one hour.
Do not use on decking.
Cleaning
Once Ronseal 10-year Woodstain is dry you will be able to clean your woodwork as usual.
Repairs
If you notice any damage to your woodwork, simply sand down the area and re-apply.
