• Ensure the radiator has been fully cleaned before you start painting - our favourite product to use for this is the Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner. 
• Give your radiator a quick sand down, this helps to build adhesion and will make the paint bond quicker to the surface. Once you have sanded your radiator make sure to give it a good wipe down. 
• Get painting! Take your tin of black radiator paint and try to resist the urge to pile on the paint (Doing this will result in some pretty nasty brush marks). Instead, we recommend applying a thin coat.
• Between each coat, let your paint dry, lightly sand your surface,wipe with your cloth and get ready to go again.
