Before application of Rust-Oleum radiator paint, ensure surface is clean, dry and free from contamination. Bare metal surfaces should be primed with a suitable metal primer. Previously painted surfaces (or the original factory finish) should be abraded and degreased prior to paint application.
Turn radiator off before applying the radiator paint and allow to cool to room temperature during application and drying. Stir thoroughly before use. The product may be applied by brush or roller. If rollering, use a short to medium nap mohair roller. Two coats are recommended.
Temperature at time of application and during drying should be between 10–25C.
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paint.
