Hammerite Radiator Enamel in Gloss White has been specially formulated to provide a heat resistant brilliant white satin finish on any water-filled household interior radiator and hot water pipes.
Providing a durable, tough and long lasting finish, this interior metal paint can provide up to 7m² per litre of coverage and can be repaintable after 16 hours. Apply with a paint brush or roller and leave for 4-6 hours to dry - this is a great way to give the surfaces that all important additional protection. A Solvent based product, this washable radiator paint is available is a 500ml sized tin and has also been designed to resist yellowing over time.

If the radiator has recently been in use, ensure it has cooled entirely before beginning. To achieve optimum results, rub down the radiator with sandpaper and remove all dust and debris afterwards. If you are painting over a bare radiator, use an anti rust primer on the bare metal.
Depending on your preference, the radiator can be painted whilst on or off the wall. If it is being painted whilst on the wall, ensure that the wall behind and floor underneath are fully covered. It is also important to not paint over any valves or knobs in case you accidentally seal them with the paint.
Paint a small test patch of Hammerite Paint onto the painted surface and leave it to dry for an hour. If you notice any defects to the painted surface under the test patch, remove all the paint from surface with paint remover, before painting the surface with Hammerite Paint
Before application can begin, ensure that the paint is stirred thoroughly before and during application. Once you have applied the paint with a quality paintbrush, leave it to dry thoroughly for a few days before turning the radiator on to harden the surface.
