Why Should I use Grey Fence Paint?

If you want something more than a traditional wooden finish in your garden, painting your fence is a great way to achieve this. Grey has become increasingly popular in finishing wood surfaces as it pairs well with so many different colours.

A high quality fence paint will offer UV & weather protection for wooden surfaces for many years meaning once its done you can enjoy your garden without needing to think about repainting.

As an alternative to paint we have Osmo Country Shades which are available in a wide variety of colours.

Which Grey Fence Paint Should I Use?

All of our grey fence paints offer the protection you'd expect from a high quality exterior paint. Our personal preference would be the Sadolin Superdec Satin Opaque Wood Protection in Anthracite Grey.

This paint is self priming and undercoating whilst offering 10 years of durable protection. It also defends against cracking, peeling and flaking and can be used on almost any exterior wood surface.

If you are looking for a specific grey shade on your fences we offer the Sadolin Superdec in tinted colour match, simply type your chosen colour and brand in the free text field and we do the rest.

Can You Paint Over Brown Fence Paint with Grey?

Yes, a good quality grey fence paint can go over brown. It may require an extra coat or two so be prepared to need extra paint. The lighter the previous coat, the fewer coats you will need of the new grey fence paint.
