Steamed Milk Interior Inspiration

Chelsea @thehousethatblackbuilt

Chelsea @thehousethatblackbuilt is the original champion of Steamed Milk helping Rust-Oleum to launch the shade and using it in her gorgeous previous home. She loves it so much that she’s continued her Steamed Milk obsession in her new renovation home! Chelsea describes Steamed Milk as ‘the most delicious, creamy, off-white, perfect in every light” shade. In this gorgeous lounge Chelsea has painted her woodwork, walls and ceiling in Steamed Milk for the most open, light and airy feeling room you could imagine!

Yasmin @homeatheathfield

Yasmin was one of the first people to properly road test the Rust-Oleum Kitchen Cupboard Paint with quite the kitchen transformation!  She opted to pair Steamed Milk with Black Sand to create a contemporary kitchen that brought character to the room in addition to the trick of keeping a paler colour on the top units to make her kitchen appear larger!  The Kitchen Cupboard Paint is a gorgeous matt finish, has a class 1 scrub rating (meaning it's super durable and up to the job!) and also works over laminate surfaces without a prime! I love that its possible to completely transform your kitchen with some elbow grease and a few tins of paint!

Roxanne @ourneutralground

Roxanne wanted to change up her guest bedroom from a deep green to a light and airy neutral so she chose our favourite Skimmed Milk as the star of the show! She paired the gorgeous off white tone with Half Light (a cool neutral reminiscent of the dim light at dusk) on her woodwork and flooring and added a touch of drama using the Natural Charcoal on the fire surround. This room feels light and airy yet still retains its cosy touch with Roxanne’s skill and style of dressing a room paired with the warming tones of Skimmed Milk so the only question remains is...when can I come and stay?

Liz @prettyprospectcottage

Liz recently transformed her front room by tackling the creation of built-in shelves which she has done an absolutely marvellous job of! She then opted for the gorgeous Steamed Milk shade for her walls and furniture to complete the ‘fitted units’ vibe taking you away from any thoughts that this could be a DIY job! Her beautiful lounge looks cosy and inviting, with the Steamed Milk working perfectly with her raw effect floor boards, marble fireplace and hearth and gorgeous neutral sofa. Luna gives it her seal of approval clearly with a favourite spot on the sofa and I’m right there with her, this is a lounge of dreams!
