In order to wallpaper successfully you need to have a perfectly smooth surface. If a crack in your wall is preventing you from wallpapering it, Tesa Crack Cover Tape is the answer. It can also allow you to paint over cracks.
The tape is highly elastic and the self adhesive tape can cover cracks permanently if you don't want the hassle of using wall filler. After application the Tesa Crack Cover Tape can be painted or wallpapered over immediately. The tape is designed to fill the crack in order to prevent wallpaper from tearing after it has been hung.
It can be used on cracks and gaps as wide as 3mm and It is made for drywall sheetrock and plaster repair and perfectly suited to cover those small cracks that are typical of older walls. It is the ideal tape for covering cracks in plaster to get a smooth surface for decorating.
