A durable satin finish paint for interior woodwork and metal, Dulux Diamond Satinwood is tough, durable and non-yellowing. Formulated to be extremely hardwearing this Dulux trade paint forms a film which protects surfaces from scratches, stains, handprints and grease.
Available in Pure Brilliant White, the Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood is great for use on skirting boards, door frames and other interior woodwork especially in high traffic areas. This Dulux trim paint is water-based meaning it dries quickly, leaves little to no odour and doesn't yellow over time. Still featuring all the durability of a oil-based paint without all the disadvantages, Dulux Diamond Satinwood always leaving a professional finish and has been purposely designed to be stain and grease resistant making it great for woodwork surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms.

To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry.
Water-borne coatings can be sensitive to rubber containing plasticisers such as flexible PVC strips. The paint film may partially dissolve due to these plasticisers and become sticky. It is advisable to replace such flexible strips with those made of EPDM rubber. We recommend that you seek the advice of the manufacturers of the strips regarding this problem.
Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth.
Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Apply by brush, roller or conventional spray. For best results use a good quality synthetic (nylon polyester) brush or a short pile synthetic/mohair roller designed for the application of water-based paints.
To get the best with the Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood, lightly dampen both a synthetic brush and the surface before application to increase flow out.
As with other water-based paints, do not apply at temperatures below 8°C (as recommended by British Standards BS 6150).
