Osmo Wood Wax Finish - Intensive

Osmo Wood Wax Finish – Intensive Colours is a premium coloured wood wax designed to provide durable protection for interior wooden surfaces while adding rich, vibrant colour. Its unique formulation allows you to control the depth and opacity of the colour depending on the number of coats applied.

With one thin coat, Wood Wax Finish Intensive Colours creates a transparent colour stain that enhances the timber while allowing its natural grain and character to remain clearly visible. Applying two coats builds a stronger, more opaque colour layer, creating a bold decorative finish that can substantially reduce the visibility of the wood's natural characteristics.

Ideal for a wide range of interior woodwork including furniture, flooring, doors, joinery and other timber surfaces, this highly durable Wood Wax Finish Intensive provides excellent resistance to everyday dirt, water and common household liquid spillages such as wine, tea, cola and juice.

The microporous, breathable formulation protects the timber without creating a brittle surface. Unlike traditional varnishes, the finish will not crack, peel or flake, helping to provide long-lasting protection while making future maintenance straightforward.

For the best results, ensure the wood is clean, dry and properly prepared before application. For furniture, sand the surface to approximately P220–240, while flooring should generally be sanded to P120–150. Apply the product very thinly along the direction of the wood grain using an Osmo Flat Brush, Hand Pad or Microfibre Roller.

Osmo Wood Wax Finish Intensive Colours provides coverage of approximately 24m² per litre per coat and has a drying time of around 24 hours under normal conditions.

For high-traffic wooden floors, apply one thin coat of Intensive Colour and protect it with a top coat of Osmo Polyx-Oil for additional durability underfoot.
