Before full application can begin, ensure that your chosen surface is dry and clean prior to application.
Providing the surface is in good condition, Weathershield Smooth Masonry doesn’t require a primer, keeping costs down by saving time and material costs.

Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry is suitable for brush, roller and spray applications. To begin, stir thoroughly before use and apply for two coats for optimum results, for previously painted surfaces in good condition that are a similar colour 1 coat may be sufficient.
It is advised that for best results, that application should only happen in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad weather is not forecast. In normal conditions two coats of Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint properly applied to the substrate in accordance with the instructions will perform satisfactorily for up to 15 years giving good colour stability.
Touch dry within 30 minutes, Dulux Smooth Masonry paint is recoatable within 2-4 hours depending on external conditions.

Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry has been designed to protect masonry surfaces against all weather conditions for up to 15 years. If after that time, it is noticeable that the original coat is starting to fade or wear, then simply apply another coat following the steps given in the preparation and application sections above.
