Cuprinol Ducksback Fence & Shed treatment is a water based treatment that offers an all weather, advanced and wax enriched formulation that fights off water to protect your wooden surfaces from the effects of water entry.
Providing weather protection for up to 5 years, this easy to apply, quick drying paint absorbs into the wood, whilst also providing a great all round colour. With a large range of Cuprinol Ducksback colours to choose from, it provides up to 5m² per litre of coverage and is dry and recoatable within 2-4 hours. Easily applied with a brush or roller thanks to its' non-drip formulation, the low odour, quick absorbing paint is also suitable to be used around both plants and pets.

Before application, ensure your chosen surface is clean, dry and free from dust.
If you are painting over bare timber for the first time, make sure that no areas have been affected by mould or mildew, if this is the case then make sure you treat with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner. If you come across any holes or gaps on your wooden surface, these should also be filled in before starting.
Cuprinol ducksback cannot be applied straight onto an already previously coated surface, any pre-existing paint or varnishes should be removed back to the original bare wood before application can begin.
Before full application of cuprinol ducksback we always recommend testing out a small area of your chosen surface to ensure you are happy with the products overall adhesion and finish.
To begin, stir thoroughly before use, then apply 2-3 coats evenly along the wood's natural grain avoiding any overlapping. Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees C or whilst raining and make sure that you allow at least 2-4 hours between each coat under normal drying conditions. Where a strong colour change is required, more coats may be required for optimum results.
To keep your wooden surfaces looking good all year round, clean on a regular basis using a dampened, lint-free cloth or with a suitable exterior furniture cleaner.
