A highly penetrative, water based stabiliser suitable for use on most exterior masonry surfaces & exterior grade building boards
Sandtex Trade Quick Dry Stabilising Solution 5L is a water-based stabiliser for most exterior masonry surfaces and exterior grade building boards. It is ready to use and must not be thinned or mixed with decorating materials.
The Sandtex Trade Stabilising Solution is used to treat chalking, weathered and porous surfaces and is quick drying. It is used to allow for greater adhesion for masonry paints.
This water-borne Stabilising Solution is touch dry in 1 hour under normal conditions and recoatable after 4 hours. Coverage is usually 6-10m² but will depend on the texture of the surface and is easy to apply.

If applying to a new surfaces, before application can begin, all surfaces must be clean, dry and free from anything that will interfere with the overall adhesion to the surface. Any holes or crack must be filled with a suitable filler and finish to match one already existing.
If applying to an already previously decorated surface, surfaces must be sound, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion. Remove all loose, failing or suspect material by scraping or brushing with a stiff bristle brush and fill any cracks or surface defects in masonry surfaces with a suitable filler.
Before full application can begin, it is always recommended that you stir or shake product well before initial use. For optimum results, product should not be thinned, and should be applied using a high quality synthetic brush. Only one coat is required.
