Ronseal Decking Protector prevents water from soaking into your decking which can cause the wood to swell and split. Ronseal Decking Protector is enriched with wax which makes it highly waterproof and prevents damage to your decking.
It also protects your decking from sunlight to ensure your decking looks great for longer.
Ronseal Decking Protector covers up to 8m²/litre and for best results use two coats and apply with a brush.

Before you start
- Before using Ronseal Decking Protector ensure the weather is above 10°C and dry.
- Ensure your decking is clean by removing dust, dirt and grease.
- Shake your Ronseal Decking Protector and pour in a suitble container.
- Apply Ronseal Decking Protector with a brush or pad. Cover two to three boards at a time in the direction of the grain.
- For best results, apply two coats of Ronseal Decking Protector. Wait a maximum of two hours before you re-coat as the first coat may be repelled by the second if it is left for to long.
- Wait 24 hours after applying Ronseal Decking Protector before using your Decking.
Cleaning
Use water and detergent to clean your brushes
Keep your decking clean by using a metal brush to remove dirt and dust
Repair
If you notice any damage to your decking, simply apply a new coat of Ronseal Decking Protector
