How to apply Cuprinol Anti Slip Decking Stain
- First you’ll need to prepare your decking area by sweeping away any surface dirt or debris. You’ll also need to remove any build up of fungi or algae using a product such as Cuprinol Pre Treatment Anti-Algae Decking Cleaner. You’ll also need to ensure that the deck is stripped back to bare wood, so any old stain, paint or varnish needs to be removed. Ensure the decking is dry before you begin applying the decking stain.
- Stir your tin of Cuprinol Anti Slip Decking Stain and apply it evenly along the grain using a brush or roller, avoiding any overlaps.
- You may need to apply 2 - 3 coats, allowing 2 - 6 hours between each coat so that the previous coat dries fully.
