Osmo Interior Polyx Oil (High Solid)
Osmo Polyx®-Oils are developed from natural oils and waxes to provide the most hardwearing and durable protection for wooden flooring and furniture. The wood's true beauty is accomplished by using Osmo Polyx®-Oil.
The emphasis on the wood's grain and natural characteristics provides a warm and rich effect to ensure that any interior looks luxurious and elegant. Each wood has its own style and unique charm, and is seductive from the first sight. Suitable for wood; microporous surface does not crack, flake, peel or blister.
Available in a clear (non pigmented) finish or a raw (lightly white pigmented) finish.
Ensuring your surfaces are clean, dry and dust free is key before application, for optimum results ensure that all traces of previous finishes such as paints and varnishes are removed to expose clean, bare wood through sanding or using a suitable varnish.
It is always advised that you test a surface before painting to be sure of the effect and overall drying time. Stir thoroughly prior to use. Osmo oils dry via oxidation, so it is super important to ensure that you have good ventilation before and during painting for premium results.
Start by applying a thin and even layer to your wooden surface using a fine bristled paintbrush. For best results remove any excess oil from your surface with a clean, lint-free cloth. Leave to dry for up to 8-10 hours and follow up by lighting sanding/de-nibing the surface sanding dust, and applying a further second layer and allowing to fully dry.
