At DCO, we’re all about bringing you the latest and most inspiring updates in home design—and trust us when we say, this one’s HUGE!
For the first time since 2022, Farrow & Ball is launching a brand-new range of colours to add to their hugely popular 132 shade colour card on February 27th, and we’re thrilled to be part of the inner circle. Yep, that’s right, remember our trip down to Dorset back in November 2024? Well during that flying visit to Farrow and Ball HQ, we got an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming shades, and let’s just say... you’re going to fall in love. In the works since spring 2024, these carefully designed and curated shades really do deliver something for everyone… But before we spill some of the colourful secrets, we want to hear from YOU…

What Colours Do You Want to See?
If you could add your dream shade to the Farrow & Ball chart, what would it be?
- Are you craving the return of a favourite archive colour?
- Maybe a richer, moodier blue for that perfect statement wall?
- Or perhaps a sun-drenched ochre to warm up your space?
We’ve been chatting with our DCO community about what they’d love to see in this collection, and the responses have been so interesting. A lot of you were hoping for warm, cocooning neutrals, while others were drawn to earthy browns, mocha tones, and deep caramel shades for that timeless yet modern feel. Plums and burgundy shades were also high on the Wishlist, adding a rich, luxurious touch. And of course, there were plenty of bold predictions too—some of you were all about vibrant reds and oranges for a real statement, while others dreamed of soft lilacs and pale blues to bring a fresh, airy feel.
But did your predictions hit the mark? Let’s find out…
Your Exclusive Sneak Peek
We can’t spill all the tea (or paint!) just yet, but here’s a little teaser of FOUR shades we think are about to become your new favourites…
1. Scallop
A delicate, rosy neutral with the soft warmth of a sun-kissed shell. Sitting beautifully between Setting Plaster and Jitney, it offers just a whisper of pink without overpowering a space. Whether in a bedroom for a cocooning feel or in a hallway to create an inviting entrance, Scallop is set to become a go-to for those who love warmth with a refined edge.

2. Dibber
Grounded in nature, this soft, mossy green is effortlessly stylish yet wonderfully understated. Inspired by the gardener’s dibber, it carries the richness and warmth of freshly turned earth, adapting beautifully to different light conditions. Whether you’re creating a cosy study or bringing natural elegance to your living spaces, Dibber has a timeless quality and warming undertones that makes it incredibly versatile.

3. Marmelo
A warm, spiced amber that radiates comfort and charm. Named after the marmelo quince (the fruit behind marmalade!), this hue has a rich depth that makes spaces feel instantly welcoming. Richer and redder than India Yellow, Marmelo is perfect for adding warmth to darker rooms or making a striking statement in sunlit spaces and delivers on the huge burnt orange trends we’re seeing in home interiors this year.

4. Douter
A burnished, smoky green with a touch of aged elegance. Nestled between Inchyra Blue and Green Smoke, this shade is a master of depth and sophistication. Whether paired with deep heritage tones or soft neutrals, Douter brings an undeniable sense of character and charm to any space. Based on how popular Inchyra Blue and Green Smoke have been, with Douter filling the gap in between we’re sure this one is going to be a massive hit!

A Farewell to Some Old Favourites
With every new chapter comes a bittersweet goodbye. As we welcome these stunning new shades, Farrow & Ball is making space on its 132-shade colour chart and archiving 12 classic colours—some of which have been beloved for years.
But don’t worry—just because they’re leaving the main chart doesn’t mean they’re gone forever. You can still order these archived shades right here at DCO by simply entering their name and choosing the paint finish and size you need!

I am liking the Marmelo. Thinking about one wall in the kitchen and I’m looking forward to seeing what will go with it.
Shame to see Middleton Pink going to the archive – a really lovely and versatile colour. Look forward to seeing all the new colours.
Love the new colours but really fascinated by how green ‘douter’ looks in the large image in text and yet how blue it looks in the farrow and ball timber swatches layout used as the header image on the article. Like two different colours!
