If you’ve been keeping an eye on decorating trends lately, you’ll know that decorative wall panelling isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s still one of the easiest ways to completely transform a room without needing a full renovation.
Whether it’s classic half-height panelling in a hallway, a cosy bedroom backdrop, or a full feature wall in a living room, panelling adds texture, depth, and instant character to a space.
If you’re looking for a bit more inspiration around different styles, I’ve also written The Ultimate Guide to Wall Panelling, where I walk through popular panelling designs and where they tend to work best around the home.
But today, I wanted to share something new.
We’re really excited to introduce NMC’s brand new 2026 panelling collection, The Harmony of Lines, which has just landed on our website.
Now, we haven’t added the entire catalogue. Instead, we’ve carefully chosen the panels we think our customers will actually want in their homes. Designs that feel modern, stylish, and easy to decorate with.
Let me show you a few of my favourites.
So What Is “The Harmony of Lines” Collection?
In simple terms, this new collection is all about clean lines and subtle texture.
Rather than bold or overly complicated patterns, these panels use simple shapes and grooves to add interest to your walls without making the room feel busy.
They’re modern, elegant, and surprisingly versatile, which makes them much easier to work into real homes, not just magazine interiors.
One of the biggest improvements in this range is the introduction of HDPS (High Density Polystyrene) material.
It might sound technical, but it actually brings some really practical benefits:
- Slim 9.5mm profile, so you get the look without losing space
- Fully waterproof, making them perfect for kitchens and bathrooms
- Scratch and impact resistant, ideal for busy homes
- Factory primed and ready to paint, so you can match any colour scheme
- Suitable for walls, ceilings, and even furniture
In other words, you get the beauty of architectural panelling with materials designed for modern living and real homes.
Latte S Panel
The Latte S panel is probably the easiest one to style because it’s built around simple vertical grooves.
It creates a clean, structured look that works beautifully in modern or Scandinavian-style interiors, but it’s also subtle enough to work in more traditional spaces too.
One of the things I really like about Latte S is how versatile it is.
You could use it as half-height panelling in a hallway or living room for that classic cottage-style feel. Or run it across a full wall to create a sleek, contemporary feature.
It also works really well in spaces where you want a calm, uncluttered feel, like bedrooms, reading corners, or home offices.

Canopée S Panel
If you prefer something a little softer, Canopée S is a lovely option.
Instead of straight grooves, this panel features gentle curved lines that bring a bit more movement to the wall.
It’s perfect if you like interiors that feel relaxed and natural, and it works particularly well in bedrooms, living rooms, or even bathrooms.
Because of the way the curves catch the light, the wall ends up with a really nice sense of depth without looking overly busy or decorative.

Canopée Mix Panel
Canopée Mix takes the same curved concept but adds a little more variation.
The alternating curved profiles create a subtle wave-like effect across the wall, which looks especially lovely once natural light hits it.
It’s ideal for feature walls where you want something a little different.
One of the clever things about this design is that it’s made to work alongside Canopée S, so you can mix the two together if you want a more custom look.

Allegrettino Panel
The Allegrettino panel offers something slightly more textured.
It has a tighter pattern that creates a really interesting play of light and shadow across the wall. The design is inspired by natural mineral formations, which gives it a more organic feel compared to traditional linear panels.
It’s a great choice if you want a statement feature wall that still feels modern and elegant.
Another helpful detail is that the panels include cutting guides on the back, making it easier to reposition and experiment with layouts before fixing everything in place.

Installing Wall Panels Is Easier Than You Think
If you’re thinking about adding panelling to your home, the good news is that it’s much easier to install than most people expect.
Panels like these are usually fixed to the wall using a strong adhesive such as Decor Grip Adhesive,
which keeps everything firmly in place.
Once installed, you can paint them in any colour you like. Match them to your walls for a subtle look, or go bold with a contrasting feature wall.
And if you’re struggling to find the perfect colour, well, you already know who the Colour Match experts are!
Other NMC Panels Worth Exploring
While the Harmony of Lines collection is the newest addition to our range, we also stock some other fantastic NMC panels that are still incredibly popular.
Canelé L
Designed by Belgian designer Bertrand Lejoly, Canelé L features bold vertical grooves inspired by Scandinavian architecture.
Its larger scale makes it ideal for feature walls in living rooms, dining areas, or hallways, where it adds structure and depth without overwhelming the space.

Dorique
Another design from Bertrand Lejoly, the Dorique panel uses vertical lines to create a striking play of light and shadow.
The lines naturally draw the eye upward, which can help a room feel taller and more spacious.
It works beautifully in hallways, entryways, and modern living spaces, and you can even combine Dorique with Canelé panels if you want to create a more layered design.

A Simple Way to Add Character to Your Home
Wall panelling has become one of the easiest ways to bring personality into a space, and collections like The Harmony of Lines make it even simpler.
Whether you prefer the clean structure of Latte S, the soft curves of Canopée S, or the textured detail of Allegrettino, there are plenty of ways to create a really stylish feature wall.
And because the panels are ready to paint, you can customise them to work perfectly with the colours you already love in your home.
