I was lucky enough to be invited to Little Greene’s Manchester headquarters recently for a very exciting first look at what they’ve been working on behind the scenes.
And if you love colour as much as I do, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for this one!
This September, Little Greene is refreshing its collection, with 26 new colours joining the palette. Yes, 26!
I can’t share everything I saw and learnt on the day just yet, but I can give you a little sneak peek at what Little Greene has already revealed!
A day with Little Greene
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know how much I love talking about colour, so getting to spend the day with the Little Greene team and hear the thinking behind the new colour card was right up my street.
I always love hearing all the thinking behind new colours and Little Greene didn't disappoint. We heard some of the stories and history behind the new colours, where the inspiration came from and why certain shades have been added to the collection.
It was fascinating to hear it all, and I definitely came away with some new favourites!
So, what can I tell you?
The refreshed Colours of England card will feature 128 shades, including five brand-new colours.
The Colour Scales collection is getting an even bigger update, with 22 new colours being introduced. Little Greene has expanded some of its much-loved colour families, while also adding new shades.
And there’s another little treat for long-time Little Greene fans… one much-loved colour is also making its way back from the archive!
Meet five of the new colours
Little Greene has already revealed the five shades joining its Colours of England palette, so I can finally share these with you!
Haye White
I think we're always looking for that perfect off-white that isn't too stark, and Haye White definitely caught my attention. It's a lovely warm white and one I can see becoming a really useful addition to the Little Greene palette.

Parlour
This is such a pretty alternative to your typical off-white. There's a softness to Parlour that I really like, with just enough pink coming through to give it a bit more character.

Ashes of Marigold
This is the one for anyone who's been loving all those warmer, earthier colours we've been seeing. It's a muted orange that feels much softer than some of the brighter oranges we've had in the past, and I think there's going to be lots you can do with it.

Floss
You definitely can't accuse Little Greene of playing it safe with this one! Floss brings a proper pop of pink to the new collection and feels fun without being too much. I can already imagine this being a popular one for adding a bit of personality to a room.

Perpetual Blue
Probably one of the most interesting of the five for me. Perpetual Blue is one of those shades that doesn't immediately fit neatly into one colour box. There's a real mix of blue, green and grey in there, and I think it'll be fascinating to see how people use it.

And that’s only the beginning…
There are still plenty more colours to come, and having had the chance to see them for myself, I’m very excited to be able to share more with you soon.
I think there’s a really nice mix in this new collection. There are colours that feel a little different and exciting, but plenty that I can see being really easy to use in our homes too.
The new Little Greene colour card launches on Monday 14th September 2026, when all 26 new colours will officially join the Little Greene collection.
Until then, consider this your little sneak peek!
And I already have a few favourites… but I’ll save those for another day.
Happy decorating,
Helen x
