Johnstone's Joncryl Water Based Primer Undercoat is an acrylic based primer and undercoat with a low odour. With quick drying times (Recoat in 1-2 hours) it is usually applied to prime bare wood and can also be used on top of an existing coat.
This high quality has been formulated for use on wood, plaster, hardboard, cement and brickwork. Johnstone's Trade Joncryl is a great alternative to other oil based primers and undercoats and can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces.
Supplied in White and is available in 1L, 2.5L & 5L tins.

All surfaces to be painted with Johnstone's Trade Joncryl Primer should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material.
Rub down bare timber surfaces with dry glasspaper to remove raised grain and sharp edges.
Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not breathe spray. Wear respiratory protection. Stir thoroughly before use.
Easy to apply by brush or roller. Also suitable for application by spray.
Apply liberally, brushing firmly into the surface. Do not apply when the air or surface temperature is below 10°C or externally when rain is imminent.
