Providing your interior wooden surfaces with the ultimate level of protection, Fiddes Hard Wax Oil is available in a range of tints and finishes.
Quick and easy to apply, the all-in-one Fiddes hard wax oil has been purposely designed to provide interior wooden surfaces with exceptional levels of durability and resistance.
Suitable for using on a wide range of surfaces including, natural wooden flooring, kitchen worktops (wooden) and other internal wooden surfaces, this water and stain resistant formula has been made from a blend of natural vegetable oils and waxes.
Remaining scratch and scuff resistant whilst protecting against liquid spills, this interior wood oil delivers up to 24m² of coverage per litre and can be easily maintained and restored. Available in a extensive range of tints and sizes, the Fiddes hard wax oil comes in both a matt and satin finish and can be applied with a floor oil brush or a good quality bristle or synthetic brush.
Fiddes hard wax oil is safe for humans, animals and plants once dry.

How many coats of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil should I apply and how long does it take to dry?
For quality results it is recommend that you apply 2-3 coats of the Fiddes hard wax oil. Once applied, leave to dry for around 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions.
Can I use the Fiddes hard wax oil on my wooden kitchen table top?
Yes, great choice! The Fiddes hard wax oil provides a high level of protection, durability and resistance against everyday scratches and scuffs.
Is the Fiddes hard wax oil hard to maintain once applied?
In short no! Just like any other wooden surface for regular cleaning apply a light spray of the Fiddes Wood Surface Cleaner buffing once dry removing any minor blemishes. Occasionally, an application of Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner is recommended in areas subjected to heavy wear.

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any previous finish. Sand the substrate with a fine 150 grade sanding paper or 150 grit sanding disk, removing all traces of dust.
Ensure all areas to be coated are extremely well ventilated during and after application. Always test on a small area prior to initial application. No primer required. Maximum 2 coats recommended. Apply at room temperature. Fiddes Hard Wax Oil is formulated for application directly, and does not require thinning.
First Coat
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use, and apply in a warm, well ventilated room. Apply evenly using Fiddes Floor Oil Brush or a good quality bristle or synthetic brush, following the direction of the grain. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions, or preferably overnight.
Second Coat
Apply as first coat. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm well ventilated conditions. Clean applicators with White Spirit. When the area is completely dry, a light buff will further enhance sheen level. With the exceptions of White, Belgium Grey and Oak Lightening, a single coat of Tinted Hard Wax Oil is recommended and then finished with Clear Hard Wax Oil.
