Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell is a very tough mid sheen paint that is both stain and moisture resistant making it the perfect choice for using in bathrooms, kitchens and busy areas within your home with its ability to handle extreme condensation.
With a touch dry time of 1-2 hours, this Leyland Trade Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell paint has a recoatable time of 3-4 hours and can provide up to 12m² per litre of coverage. For optimum results, 2 coats is generally recommended.

Important information
- Scrubbable paint finishes take around 1 week to fully cure and therefore scrubbing should be avoided for the first week. We also recommend using a soft material to wipe down the walls to avoid burnishing the surface.
- Due to differences in computer monitors and colour swatches actual colours may have slight variance when mixed into paint. Colour Match products cannot be refunded or returned once mixed unless there is a product fault. If you are unsure about a colour, we provide an excellent tester pot service so you can test colours in situ before ordering in larger volumes. It is your own responsibility to ensure you have picked the correct colour.
- Numbered Dulux shades are copyrighted and therefore we are unable to match them.
- We cannot match to Pantone or HEX colours.
- In some circumstances there may be other colour / finish combinations that cannot be mixed, these are rare and we will contact you promptly to advise if there is a limitation preventing the colour / finish combination. In most cases we can provide a closest match which is within 10% variance to the original colour selected, or suggest an alternative suitable finish. We will only ever do this with your prior agreement.

Before application of Leyland Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell paint, ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Remove all loose and defective paint. Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive to provide a good key. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear
a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Prime where required with appropriate Leyland Primer. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Stir tin of Leyland Trade Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell well before use. On absorbent surfaces, the
first coat should be thinned when necessary to ease application, taking care not to over-thin. Suitable for application by brush, roller or spray.
Apply two full coats, allowing 3-4 hours between coats under normal conditions. On certain surfaces a third coat may be necessary. For spray application, thin with clean water as required, using up to approximately 0.5 litres of water to 5 litres of paint. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10˚C. Conditions of high humidity can prolong the drying time.
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean equipment immediately after use in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
