Tikkurila Betolux Akva Primer - 5L

A high quality, water-based acrylate primer to be used on concrete floors making the application of a top coat much easier. This primer can also be used as a dust binder.

The Betolux Akva Primer should be used for the priming and treatment of both new and previously painted concrete floors and stairs before using the Betolux Akva Floor Paint. It is perfect for use in residential and commercial or storage premises.

Should be applied by either brush or roller and can cover approximately 5-10m²/l. As it is water based it dries quickly, is low odour as well as being low VOC and non-yellowing. Supplied in a 5L container.

For interior use only. Suitable for dry floors exposed to light mechanical and chemical stress.

Application

The surface of the concrete must be dry and at least 4 weeks old. Relative humidity of the concrete must be below 97%. During paint work and drying the temperature of the air, surface and paint must be at least 10°C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80%.

Stir well before use. The primed surface can be painted with Betolux Akva Floor Paint after approx. 2 hours under normal conditions.
