Owatrol Polytrol Colour Restorer

Owatrol Polytrol helps to restore the colour and appearance of dull and faded surfaces caused by exposure to sunlight, rain and pollution.

It works by once applied re-wetting the pigments to restore their lustre and colour which has been lost and also through giving it that all important corrosion protection to prevent it from happening again. When used on tarnished metals, it brings back the shine and gives long-term protection against corrosion.

The Owatrol Polytrol Colour Restorer is also suitable to be used on tarnished plastics, gelcoats and a range of other surfaces. Applied simply with a cloth or brush, Polytrol dries to a tough and long-lasting flexible finish resulting in there being no flaking or peeling.

Available in a variety of different sizes including a 250ml spray can, 0.5l tin and 1L tin.

How long should i leave Polytrol on the surface for?

Polytrol should be left on the surface for around 10-20 minutes. It is important to remember that you should not allow the Polytrol to dry out and create a film on the surface.

The colour of my composite door is fading, can I apply Polytrol to this type of surface?

Yes, Polytrol is known to be super effective on composite surfaces. 

How long does polytrol typically last for before I need to reapply?

This will all depend on certain external factors such as UV and weathering, however generally Polytrol will last for around 12 months before you need to reapply.
