Osmo Interior Polyx Oil Effect Raw - 3044 is a lightly white pigmented wood oil designed for using on wooden flooring and furniture.
Osmo Polyx® oils are developed from natural oils and waxes to help and provide the most hardwearing and durable protection for wooden flooring and furniture.
The emphasis on the wood’s grain and natural characteristics provide a warm and rich effect to ensure that any interior looks luxurious and elegant. Not only suitable for wooden flooring, Osmo Polyx Oil Effect Raw - 3044 is also perfect for using on wooden doors, kitchen worktops, furniture and more.
Scratch and scuff resistant, this durable natural oil also protects against liquid spills, and has an overall drying time of 8 hours, with a high coverage level of 24m² per litre. Providing a tough, durable and water repellent finish, Osmo Polyx Oil raw provides surfaces with a microporous, breathable finish which does not crack, peel or flake overtime.

Prior to use, wooden surface must be clean, dry and frost-free. Osmo Polyx®-Oil Effect Raw is a ready to use product and does not require any thinning, therefore all that is needed before application is a stir of the product.
Any old paints and varnishes must be completely removed prior to use, whilst any small cracks, larger joints or holes in wood should be filled (with Osmo Wood Filler). Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. Applying Polyx®-Oil Effect Raw over very textured or coarse surfaces could appear more white.
Using a flat brush, floor brush or Osmo microfibre roller, apply Osmo Polyx Oil Effect Raw - 3044 thinly along the wood grain and spread throughout well. Any visible white pigments must be completely removed before allowing the surface to dry. Once first coat has been applied, allow to dry for approx. 24 hours under good ventilation conditions.
After drying, quickly apply a second coat also thinly. When renovating or recoating an already oiled surface, one coat applied to the clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.
To maintain optimum results of your treated wooden surface, we recommend cleaning with a duster, floor mop or hoover. For regular cleaning, we recommend using Osmo wash and care floor cleaner.
