Johnstone's Anti-Slip Additive is a silica quartz-based additive powder that gives smooth floor coatings a tough and durable slip-resistant performance.
It can be used with any Johnstone's Trade floor paint to increase slip resistance. Part of the Johnstone's Trade Performance Coatings Range.

Add directly to paint just before use, at the rate of 0.5kg to 2kg per 5 litre tin of paint and mix thoroughly.
The actual weight of Anti-slip Additive used will depend on the degree of slip resistance required. Alternatively, sprinkle directly onto wet application of the floor coating at a rate of 0.5kg to 1kg per square metre.
When the coating is dry, any excess Anti-Slip additive should be swept away and a further 1 or 2 coats of the floor coating applied to seal the aggregate thoroughly, although this may reduce the slip resistance.
